Personal Data Protection
PRINCIPLES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING AND PROTECTION
The Zlín Region’s Cultural and Creative Center, located at the Čipera Villa, Burešov, 760 01 Zlín, is a division of the 14|15 Baťa Institute. Its primary mission is to support the cultural, social, awareness-raising, and educational needs of the public.
Its founder is 14|15 Baťa Institute, Vavrečkova 7040, 760 01 Zlín, IČO: 72563346, an organization receiving contributions from the Zlín Region.
As part of its operations, 14|15 Baťa Institute, a subsidized organization that acts as a personal data controller, processes this data primarily for the following purposes:
a. maintaining a mailing list for sending invitations to openings and exhibitions
b. sending informational newsletters
c. protecting property and individuals (security camera monitoring)
d. promoting the organization (photos and videos from events)
e. booking and selling e-tickets
f. contracts and service orders

Information on the Processing of Personal Data
1) The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, based on the consent provided, and Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, i.e., processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the relevant controller.
2) Personal data is not disclosed to other parties unless its disclosure to authorities, agencies, or institutions is required of the subsidized organization by a specific legal regulation.
3) When processing personal data, the subsidized organization does not engage in automated processing that would result in actions or decisions that interfere with the rights or legitimate interests of citizens.
4) Personal data is processed only for as long as is necessary, with the duration varying depending on the specific purpose of the processing. Once this period has expired, the personal data is destroyed or retained for the period specified in the applicable Records Management and Retention Schedule, issued in accordance with Act No. 499/2004 Coll., on Archiving and Records Management.
5) You have the right to:
a. request access to your personal data,
b. withdraw your consent at any time, while the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to its withdrawal,
c. request the correction of inaccurate personal data (if you believe that the personal data processed by the subsidized organization is inaccurate),
d. request the erasure of personal data or, alternatively, request the restriction of its processing,
e. object to the processing of personal data,
f. request the portability of personal data that you have provided to the Baťa Institute, a subsidized organization,
g. file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
6) Your requests will always be properly assessed and addressed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
7) Please exercise your rights with respect to the organization through the Data Protection Officer.
